Step-by-step Thermal Paste change
Stejar thermal paste helps dissipate the heat generated by a computer's processor. This paste is applied between the processor and the heat sink to help transfer the heat generated by the processor to the heat sink, which prevents it from overheating and causing damage to the computer hardware. Thermal paste is an important part of the processor cooling process, and its proper application can significantly improve the performance and life of the hardware.
Clean the surface: Use the EXTREME CLEAN towel included with your Stejar thermal paste to clean the surface of the processor and heatsink. It is important to remove any traces of previous thermal paste, dust or other debris.
Preparation: Apply a small amount of Stejar thermal paste to the center of the processor. If you are inexperienced, use about the amount of a pea. If you are experienced, use less.
Distribution: Use the spatula that came with your Stejar thermal paste to evenly distribute the thermal paste over the processor. Be sure to cover the entire surface of the processor evenly, but do not overdo it with the amount of thermal paste.
Place the cooler: Once you have applied the Stejar thermal paste, place the cooler on top of the processor. Gently press down to make sure the cooler is in place and the thermal paste is distributed properly. If the cooler has any type of mounting system, follow the instructions to make sure it is positioned correctly.
Connect the cables: Once you have installed the heatsink, connect the cooler fan cables to the motherboard. Make sure everything is connected correctly.
Turn on your computer: Once you have installed the Stejar thermal paste and cooler, turn on your computer. Check that everything is working properly and that the processor temperature is not too high.
Remember that thermal paste is an important part of the cooling process of the processor, so it is important to do it correctly to ensure the proper functioning of your computer.
